AB0865-HPR FREQUENCY OF DEPRESSION IN SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS

Objectives: Cross-sectional observational study of a series SLE patients selected from the Rheumatology consultations. Methods: age ≥18 years with (ACR 1997 criteria) capable understanding and willing to take questionnaires. Protocol: All undergoing follow-up in rheumatology clinic are recorded database. A telephone call was made all included database those who responded gave their verbal consent for collection data clinical history completed Goldberg questionnaire were finally included. The nurse charge explaining patients. Variables: main outcome variable depression assessed by (≥2 depression) other variables were: previous diagnosis depression, Charlson index, polypharmacy, psychiatric medication, referral mental health or primary care, SLEDAI SLICC. Descriptive, bivariate statistical analysis multivariate logistic regression (VD: depression). Results: 89 (95.5% women, mean 49.44 ± 13.2 18.28 9.19 disease). (SD) scale 3.2 2.9 total 45 (50.4%) met criteria according Goldberg’s screening, which 19 (21.3%) had depression. Only 9 (10.1%) 22 (24.7%) being followed family doctor. 87 (97.8%) presented polypharmacy: severe polypharmacy 59 (66.3%) 33 (37.1%) medication. most used medication was: 7 (7.8%) bromazepam, 6 (6.7%) citalopram, 5 (5.6%) diazepam. Regarding comorbidities, index 1.82 1.21, also highlighting that 34 (27%) sample Sjögren syndrome. In analysis, (OR, 1.8 [95% CI, 1.0-3.1]) Sjogren’s syndrome 3.8 1.0-10.7]) independently associated Goldberg. Conclusion: Depression is underdiagnosed undertreated SLE. perception ill.
